Tutoring & Mentoring

Requires the following three steps to be completed:

1) Tutoring & Mentoring Registration Form

2) Darkness to Light Survey & Training for Tutoring / Mentoring Volunteers

3) Hickory Public Schools Employment Background Authorization and Release

1) Tutoring & Mentoring Volunteer Registration Form

All volunteers for the Classroom Connections Tutoring and Mentoring project need to complete the registration form. Click below to access the form.

2) Darkness to Light Survey & Training for Tutoring/Mentoring Volunteers

All tutoring and mentoring volunteers are required to complete the Darkness to Light Survey & Training. Click the button below for the link and directions to complete the survey.

Prior to beginning to serve as a volunteer, you must send a copy of your completion certificate to Donald Hicks at cc.information@yahoo.com.

3) Hickory Public Schools Employment Background Authorization and Release Form

Volunteers will work with students from Hickory Public Schools. Prior to doing so, Hickory Public Schools will obtain any and all information that pertains to your eligibility. Please, complete the HPS Employment Background Authorization & Release Form by Clicking the tab below:
